In order to carry out the charity event "Responding to humane month" with the theme "Joining hands for the public health", the Red Cross District 5 and Cam Nguyen Rice Company cooperated to donate to 214 people in district yesterday morning, Gifts were given to the elderly, disabled people, Agent Orange victims and lottery sellers. Truong Canh Ba, vice chairman of the People's Committee of District 5, and Huynh Nha My, deputy director of Cam Nguyen Rice Company, were invited to attend. On the same day, each beneficiary received 10 kg of aromatic rice, 2 bottles of soy sauce and 5 packets of instant noodles. The total value of the event is 32 million VND, in which Cam Nguyen Company sponsors fragrant rice worth 27 million VND

According to Le Huan Phong, Chairman of the Red Cross District 5, the outbreak of Corona has seriously affected the economy of Vietnam, making the life of the poor even more difficult. Many poverty reduction activities have been carried out nationwide and this association is no exception. In addition to good propaganda and disease prevention, the association also reaches the poor with many benefactors
According to statistics, as of the middle of the month, the association has distributed about 60 tons of rice, 320 boxes of instant noodles, 1449 bottles of soy sauce, more than 7,000 eggs, 300 kg of dried fish, 100 kg of vegetables, 500 masks, etc. . The activity is well implemented, thanks to the generous donations of benefactors from all walks of life, hoping to help all the poor through difficult times.
