Therefore, this is considered one of the rice varieties with low risk compared to other varieties of the same type in the context of natural disasters, lack of fresh water, and salt water intrusion.

From February 24 to March 2, 2021, about 2,500 farmers in the Mekong Delta provinces visited and assessed the new rice variety of Vietnam Rice Company Limited (Vinarice).

In the demonstration model, farmers were able to visit nearly 20 rice varieties researched and tested by Vinarice (a member of the Vietnam National Seed Group - Vinaseed). In particular, many rice varieties are highly appreciated such as: VNR 20, VNR 95, Thien Chau 16 ...
